Subsequent to killing a voyaging minister, an outlaw wanderer goes to a modest community and stances as the man he murdered. In spite of the fact that the assembly adores the vagabond’s messages of absolution, the neighborhood police boss is suspicious of the man. Before long a grisly revelation at a nearby quarry powers the executioner to battle for his opportunity.
